Noa’s Art Background Scene Selection
“With so many great background scenes…it’s hard to choose!!”
Noa began her career drawing each of her portraits from scratch, but became frustrated at not having time to add the details she wanted. Plus, it seemed that most people requested the same few scenes, over and over. Sometimes a customer would request something that she had never drawn before, and she would have to “fake” the scene as best she could. Finally one day as she was working at a local carousel, it occured to her to create a generic carousel horse background with a blank rider’s body and make copies of it for her customers. She put in lots of intricate details and shading and then repoduced it digitally onto paper which she cut down to a standard frame size. Ever since that moment, Noa has been slowly adding to her repertoire of scene choices, with over 40 different backgrounds available today. Plus, she is constantly creating custom scenes to fit different events she does. This leaves Noa time to focus on her favorite part of the drawing…the face!! The quality of the photocopiers allows Noa to blend her pencil drawing into each scene seamlessly, so that most people can’t even tell it’s a copy. In this manner she delivers a richly detailed and subtly shaded look with the speed of a much quicker sketch.
