Artist Bio and Resume
Noa Teplow Juarez has been drawing portraits and painting murals (left-handed!) for the past 15 years, though her love of drawing began at a very young age. Born in Israel to an American father and Israeli mother, Noa moved to the U.S. at age 4. Her parents noticed her talent around that time, and lovingly nurtured it through hours spent looking at Art books and by providing endless reams of office stationery on which to doodle. Noa began her study of Art in her hometown of Oakland, CA starting at age 9, eventually getting into her dream school, the Rhode Island School of Design. Falling in love with the charming Ocean State, she decided to settle down there, starting her own business and buying a home where she now lives with her Guatemalan husband Carlos and their two children. Noa currently balances being a wife and mom with running her portrait/mural/illustration business and teaching Art part-time at a local Christian school. She looks to God for strength, inspiration and guidance in all she does.
